LPG systems comply with international regulations (R67-01) and are equipped with various safeguards, making the LPG system safer than the gasoline system.
The LPG tanks are made of thick-walled steel that remains intact even in the event of a major impact (accident) (no leaks or cracks). A safety valve ensures that the LPG escapes in a controlled manner in the event of a vehicle fire, without the tank exploding.
The tank is also equipped with an electric drain valve that shuts off automatically when the engine is switched off, runs on petrol or stops (accident). As a result, no gas will escape under these conditions either. The prejudice against LPG systems that they are unsafe is therefore completely obsolete.
